March Library Essentials

After the Valentine's flowers wilt and all the candy hearts have been put away, March is right around the corner! We print our March library essentials early and start using most of them those last few days of February. Readers can stop by the library to pick up one of our St. Patty's Day themed bookmarks or to grab one of our reading challenge bookmarks. We've created both a March Madness Challenge bookmark and a Spring Break Reading Challenge bookmark. Since Chromebook stickers make for cool prizes, we have several students who really enjoy the reading challenge bookmarks.

We also use March Due Date Slips to keep our readers organized. We find months with breaks can trip some of our students up on remembering to renew or return their books before they leave for break. Due date slips are fun, make for a perfect bookmark, and remind readers when their books are due.

Last but not least, our March "Which is Better" pack is printed with our weekly interactive polls. We won't begin these until March but they are an easy way to interact with students and are always a great conversation starter.
