Thanks for visiting our blog. As former elementary team teachers and current high school librarians, we like to think we approach our role as librarians with a unique mindset. Combined we have had the pleasure of working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Working with all ages and abilities has helped us to experience all sides of education and we try to bring that experience to all of our products. Our time in the classroom was fantastic but we are loving our life as high school librarians. In this role, we get to combine our love of classroom decorating, organizing, and teaching with our love of literature. Creating eye-catching interactive displays has become our favorite challenge. Decorations and themes aren’t just for elementary students and we strive to help teachers and librarians of all age groups spice up their spaces and try something new. Time and time again we’ve been amazed at how eager our high school students are to engage in activities that at first seem “too elementary.” We love creating materials digitally and bringing our crazy ideas to life. We want to share our designs with you and hope to make your life a little easier by doing the digital work for you. We can't wait to share our library and resources with you!

Read On The Hill began sharing their library displays on Instagram in 2016. They have been listed on Book Riot as one of the top 50 school libraries to follow on Instagram and won the grand prize in 2021 for the Infobase National Library Week Display contest.
