Can My Pick-up Line Get Me Checked Out? Blind Date With a Book!

Don't judge a book by its cover, let the opening line make the first impression. Always a hit with our students, this display has been updated from the original we created a few years ago to include newer titles with a more retro vibe. Each book is wrapped in paper with the opening line placed on its cover. Rather than using a cover or the summary, students select their book blindly, based solely on the first sentence. Much like the anticipation of opening the door to see your blind date, students are in for an exciting surprise as they unwrap their book after checkout to reveal its title.
